Troy Lee Designs Athletes to Contend Olympic Games

As athletes and fans flock to London for the 2012 Olympic Games, Troy Lee Designs is busy prepping gear and helmets for the world's top Men and Women's BMX contenders who will begin competing on August 8th.

Troy Lee Designs will be providing helmets for athletes from the United States, France, Italy, Belgium, Colombia, Netherlands, South Africa, Australia, Great Britain and Brazil. Eleven of the 32 men and 9 of the 16 women invited to compete in BMX will be equipped with top of the line TLD helmets, and 8 of those will be custom painted by the paint department at TLD Headquarters in Corona, CA.

TLD supported athletes from Australia and the Netherlands will be wearing Troy Lee Designs SE Pro Bike gear from the 2013 line, and the entire Dutch team will be outfitted with 2013 Troy Lee Designs GP Air Mirage pants. In addition, Shanaze Reade of Great Britain will be wearing a kit specially designed by Troy Lee Designs / adidas / Stella McCartney.

We are proud to be a part of the sport of BMX for it's second Olympic appearance at the London 2012 Games and wish the best of luck to all of the TLD athletes who will be competing!
