How did you get into motocross?
My Grandpa bought me a bike when I was 5 years old and I learned to ride it one day, then I raced the next day. Ever since, I have had a blast racing motocross and it has made me the person I am today.
How old were you when you started riding?
5 years old.
Where did you grow up?
How did you first get introduced to TLD and/or Troy?
I was teammates with Mike Kiedrowski on the Factory Off Road Suzuki team and he introduced me to everyone over at TLD. They are one of the best group of people to work with and am very grateful for the opportunity.
How long have you been riding for TLD?
Since 2006, I believe.
Which TLD products are you using?
Helmet, Jersey, Pants, Socks.
Do any athletes/riders influence or inspire your style?
Chad Reed is my favorite rider for many reasons.
What do you like to do when you're not riding?
I like to spend time with family and friends and go to the lake and ride jet skis. I also like racing RC cars.
What bands/music are you into?
Rap and Rock.
List 3 goals you have for the upcoming season:
Stay healthy and consistent all year.
Get as many Championships as I can.
Get a ride to race Pro SX/MX in 2013.
List a few highlights of your career:
2 Championships in WORCS racing.
2nd at Loretta Lynn's in 250 B Mod in 2011.
2nd at Loretta Lynn's in 450 B Mod in 2011.
What's your favorite race/event and why?
Loretta Lynn's because I love the track and having all the fastest riders there. Also, A Day in the Dirt because it's a great race to end the year off and it's just a fun race to be at.
What's your idea of an epic day riding?
Riding at Beaumont with a bunch of friends, hitting some jumps and riding hills.
What's the best thing about being an amateur motocross athlete?
Being able to wake up and do what you love to do. And having the freedom of being able to do what you want to do and how well you do it.
If you weren't a motocross athlete, how would you want to spend your time?
I would spend my time going to college and getting an education to get a job.
If you were running things, what would you change about the industry?
I would bring bigger sponsors into our sport to try and grow it and have more race teams.
