How did you get into motocross?
It's a family thing. I got my first bike at age 7.

How old were you when you started riding?
7 years old.

Where did you grow up?
Different cities in Chile and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

How did you first get introduced to TLD and/or Troy?
I needed a riding gear sponsor so my agent talked to Troy about me.

How long have you been riding for TLD?
Since 2011.

Which TLD products are you using?
All of them!

Do any athletes/riders influence or inspire your style?
Jeremy McGrath. He definitely inspired me.

What do you like to do when you're not riding?
Play guitar and build legos with my kids.

What bands/music are you into?
The Offspring.

List 3 goals you have for the upcoming season:
1. Win Red Bull X Fighters.
2. Get a medal at X Games.
3. Be a better rider than at the beginning of the year.

List a few highlights of your career:
2011 World FMX Champion.
2010 X Pilots Champion.
2004/2005 Latin FMX Champion.

What's your favorite race/event and why?
Red Bull X Fighters because of the challenge it gives me every time I compete.

What's your idea of an epic day riding?
When I achieve something amazing or that has not been attempted before.

What's the best thing about being a professional athlete?
Waking up everyday with a smile, knowing that I have the best job in the world.

If you weren't a professional athlete, how would you want to spend your time?
Doing something that is unique.

If you were running things, what would you change about the industry?
I would give more of a chance to the new talent.

Who would you like to thank?
First of all, my family for being with me through thick and thin and my sponsors for making it all easier.

Any words of wisdom?
Don't expect to be lucky. Luck is for people who don't prepare. Expect to be successful.
