How did you get into Auto Racing?
Go karts in 1997. I was 14 years old and just wanted to race.

Where did you grow up?
Nova Prata, a small city south of Brazil.

How did you first get introduced to TLD and/or Troy?
I used to watch the Indycar Series and a lot of drivers had Troy Lee on their helmets. Then two years ago I met Max Papis and he introduced me to Troy Lee Designs.

How long has TLD been painting your helmets?
Since summer of 2011.

What do you like to do when you're not racing?
Wakeboard, run and enjoy family.

What bands/music are you into?
I like dance, country and old songs.

List three goals you have for the upcoming season:
Be competitive week in week out.
Win races.
Fight for the championship.

List a few highlights of your career:
Winning the preliminary race of the Porsche GT3 Cup on the traditional “Brazilian F-1 GP” at Interlagos.
Youngest ever champion of the Porsche GT3 Cup Brazil.
First driver to be 2 time champion of the Porsche GT3 Cup Brazil.
Most wins (10) in one year in the Porsche GT3 Cup Brazil.
Winning the “Capacete de Ouro (Golden Helmet)” in 2009 as the best driver of the year (prize given by “Racing Magazine,” decided by more than 80 motor racing journalists).
Winning the first Porsche victory at GT3 Brazil.
Finishing third in the GT3 Brazil Championship in 2009.
Winning the team championship with “WB Motorsports” at GT3 Brazil.
First Brazilian to be on the pole in a NASCAR history (Daytona 2012).

What's your favorite racetrack to race on and why?
Michigan International Speedway. I had a good run there and had a shot to win last year.

If you could race against 5 drivers head to head in the same car, who would they be and at what track?
Ayrton Senna, Greg Moore, Jimmie Johnson, JP Montoya, and Jeff Gordon at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

What's the best thing about being a professional athlete?
The atmosphere, the race fans, the energy and the pressure.

If you weren't a professional race car driver, what kind of career would you pursue?
I have no idea.
