How did you get into motocross?
I started out riding my PW 50 and after a few months I started racing.
How old were you when you started riding?
4 years old.
Where did you grow up?
How did you first get introduced to TLD and/or Troy?
I tried out the gear, liked the feel and I’ve been wearing it ever since. I ride every day and it lasts and looks good for a long time.
How long have you been riding for TLD?
Since Fall of 2010.
Which TLD products are you using?
The GP Gear is great. The new Beast gear is the best on a hot day.
Do any riders influence or inspire your style?
I try to have my own style. Chad Reed is really sound. I like to watch videos of Cristophe Pourcel.
What do you like to do when you're not riding?
I do a lot of mountain and road biking.
What bands/music are you into?
Just about anything.
List 3 goals you have for the upcoming season:
2. Regain factory support.
3. Get faster.
List a few highlights of your career:
I won Loretta Lynn’s in 2007.
Got a second in the 9-11 85 class at Mini O’s in 2008.
I was 2nd overall in the 85 12-13 class in 2009 at Mini O’s in Supercross.
I am a consistent top five-ten national rider.
I am going to make it happen on big bikes in 2012.
What's your favorite race/event and why?
Loretta’s because you race the best for 20 minute motos on a rough, rutted track.
What's your idea of an epic day riding?
I joined Club MX in South Carolina and get to practice with really solid racers. The day after it rains the track is deep, rough, and rutted and working it is incredible.
What's the best thing about being a professional athlete?
I’m not quite a pro yet, but I will keep working and it will happen.
If you weren't a professional athlete, how would you want to spend your time?
I haven’t turned pro yet, so mostly everything is moto, exercise, and schoolwork.
If you were running things, what would you change about the industry?
I would cut down the number of classes, make the motos longer, and the tracks deeper and rougher.

My best advice is to watch out for words of wisdom from a 15 year old home-schooled motocrosser.
