How did you get into Motocross?
I grew up racing BMX because dirt bikes were too expensive. When I graduated high school my best friend, Cody Kraus, helped me get into dirt bikes, and then I never looked back…my life became dirt bikes.

How old were you when you started riding?
I had an XR80 as a kid, but I was 18 when I really started riding.

Where did you grow up?
Oxford, CT.

How did you first get introduced to TLD and/or Troy?
A friend introduced me to TLD employee, John Barry!!

How long have you been riding for TLD?
I'm pretty sure since 2007. TLD has been my only gear sponsor ever!! The best ride with the best!

Which TLD products are you using?
TLD keeps me looking fresh from the helmet to the socks!!

Do any athletes/riders influence or inspire your style?
Not that I have style like these guys, but hands down Drake McElroy and Jeremy Stenberg. Those guys are style.

What do you like to do when you're not riding?
I enjoy skiing, riding bicycles and daydreaming about what I'm going to do next on my dirt bike.

What bands/music are you into?
I love hip hop! Also Rise Against and AFI.

List 3 goals you have for the upcoming season:
1. Make it back to X Games!
2. Do two new tricks that haven't been done (shhh!).
3. Compete in X Fighters!!

List a few highlights of your career:
Winning 2010 X Games Best Trick.
Bring voted best trick innovator in 2010.
Riding in the Dew Tour.

What's your favorite race/event and why?
I really liked the Monster Cup this year. It was a good change for viewers.

What's your idea of an epic day riding?
Everytime you're able to get on that bike and ride is an epic day!!

What's the best thing about being a professional athlete?
Traveling and getting to inspire people all over the world.

If you weren't a professional athlete, how would you want to spend your time?
I'm not sure If there's anything else I'd want to do..I love this life.

If you were running things, what would you change about the industry?
Have a union for FMX riders so we stop getting screwed over by shady promoters.

Who would you like to thank?
God, my family, friends, and all the sponsors that stick with me!

Any words of wisdom?
When you want something in this life, set your mind to it and go get it. Sky's the limit.
